Something Different

When I named this blog “Kaleidoscopic,” I was thinking in part of the variety of topics upon which I hoped to post. If it has been all in vitro all the time recently, well that is what I have been living and thinking.

However, I am still capable of reading, if not writing, a different kind of post.

Theory Tuesdays are back at Michael Bérubé’s blog. When I read them I often wonder where he was when I was floundering in my first literary theory class as an undergraduate (the answer, I believe, is “in graduate school”).

If literary theory is not your idea of fun, read his posts about his son Jaime.  Or the ones about politics. The music ones are vaguely interesting to me, but since I wouldn’t recognize a Ramones tune if it bit me in the a– injected itself into my muscles via a 1 1/2 inch needle, I don’t think I properly appreciate most of them.
